THE WORLD VERSUS DEATH

Dear steemit friends,i attended a funeral two days ago and the doctrine inspired me to share below with you.
The world is full of ironies; i can only but repeat that to myself while mourning .
It may be the destiny of the world. The better consolation in the understanding of this philosophy can only be a verse in the literature of christians which says "Man,born of woman is full of troubles and of few days." The issue of "few days "unveils the reality that we are pilgrims on eárth ; we are on a journey of "few days",not minding the years we see. After aall, a thousand years is like an evening past before the Creator . As earlier stated, nobody knows how the journey will be or what will happen in the course of it.
**THE QUEST

What baffles me as a pilgrim is that as old as man has existed on the planet earth, he has not, the wildest imagination understood death. Death is the final stage for us to move from this destiñation to the next. Until any living things dies, human or others, it cannot complete its cycle. But in this world of sin, people, those we understand as our loved ones weeps and cry inconsolably whenever someone completes this cycle to return to his creator.
The irony then is, why should people cry and attribute so many earthly factors to a natural occurence. When ever anybody dies, man must unsatisfactorily attempt to find out the cause. The one they accuse more often is protracted illness; others are heart failure and human error,mainly accidents. In Africa, most often,even those who die in their grand old age never die of natural causes but of witchcraft attack. In fact, in Africa, nobody dies in his sleep.
That is by the way. The fact **ab initio is that the world cries when it should laugh and laugh when it should weep. For instance, the world welcomes a child into this sinful world with cheerful happiness; with laughter and comeliness whereas this is not an event to celebrate. Why should such a precious matter , innocent, sinless,empty come into a place, call it the "world" full of sins and temptations? What is it coming to do? To increase the world's bloated population by one? May be to achieve what Bill Gates and the Dangotes of this world have not achieved or to write what is left of the worlf that Aristotle,Nelkon, Soyinka and the chimamamdas of this world have not written in terms pf fiction and no-fiction. If so, good and fine. But otherwise, the irony is clear.
To sum up? Death is unpredictable!
