Corporate Worker turns into a Pornstar

A woman who traded her desk job to become a porn star has detailed exactly what made her decide to give up on her traditional career to in favor of a lucrative job working in the adult film industry.
Alix Lynx, 26, from upstate New York, was an accomplished student who graduated college with a degree in communications and an MBA in digital marketing, but after a series of layoffs that led her to a full-time job as a webcam girl, she decided to give up nine to five jobs for good to follow her desire to do porn.
'Porn is something I wanted to do since I was a teenager... Some of my friends knew. [When I was a teenager,] I came across a stack of Playboy magazines at a friend's. At that age, I was like, "Holy cow, these girls are beautiful." I wanted to be like that,' she said.
Alix said she kept her porn star dreams hidden for years, explaining that she grew up in a blue collar town and was raised to believe that she needed to go to college in order to support herself.
She went on to say that her father works construction and her mother has a PhD, and she had a 'really good upbringing', dispelling the myth that 'people who do porn must have issues'.
Alix noted that she 'wasn't promiscuous growing up', explaining that she lost her virginity when she was 16 to her high school boyfriend. She found herself interested in working in porn after watched a documentary about the industry.
'Of course, when you're 16, you don't go around telling people you want to do porn, so I thought I couldn't tell anyone,' she said.
However, when her boyfriend asked her if she liked his new poster featuring a porn star, she admitted that she thought the adult entertainment industry was 'cool' and wondered what it would be like to have sex on film.
But Alix quickly claimed she was 'just saying that' after her boyfriend told her that he would break up with her if she ever did porn.
