Same events, different spaces, and more security

How would offline events look like after the confinement?

Event organizers are already trying to solve the problem of social distancing. I found different examples of how the venues might be arranged, but there are so many doubts about whether they become part of good practices. We will probably have to deal with larger spaces to guarantee new health standards. Open-air venues could be a good idea, but we will have to exclude weather risks.

When it comes to indoor sessions, there's still much to be done in terms of good practices. On the one hand, we have to avoid crowded conference rooms. On the other hand, we have to guarantee a smooth communication process. But recent examples show there are some limits. Standard press-conferences now look different. Journalists can't access the conferencing system, and they can't improvise questions live. They have to send the questions in advance. Sounds like we can't protect free flow of information with this system.

And what about simple conferences and forums? We can probably guarantee distances, sanitizers, masks. But how would we ensure networking? How would we control coffee-break zones? I'm sure the sector will find the right solution, and we will get back to the same events, different spaces, and more security. What do you think?
