RE: Giving Back - Yesterday, My Co-workers and I Fit 500 Homeless People with Free Winter Boots
Your 'curious' question as you close your post got you into a complicated issue... Since places like steemit is about interactions, will share my experience with you. First of all, it is indeed great your initiative, or the initiative where you work at. By experience ( and the subject is really what our ICO is all about), would suggest you...
Do not think too much about it. Just do as you did.
If you think too much about it, it is a complicated matter which has no end. We could begin by the point of view that 3 % holds the world wealth. We could debate about many things. Guarani - GUA - The Phylanthropic crypto is about investment and since every services are investments in themselves, our investments target opportunities, in this view opportunities is available only for people who are interested and it goes on and on. We could discuss about it for many hours and could even get to the ethereal realm and talk about karma, actions - reactions and it's implications.. Again it is complicated when people try to figured out how to solve it as a problem. In your post you talked about homeless in USA. Just think for a moment about homeless in Mumbay or Bangladesh as an example. The issue is out of our hands, which comes down to what I suggest at the beginning of the interaction. Just do it, do not think too much about it.
Thanks for engaging with my question at the end. I know that it’s a tricky and sometimes controversial subject to discuss. I think you have a really balanced and reasonable approach to the whole thing by pointing out what a circular topic it can be.
You make a good point that I don’t have to have a fully rationed and hashed out opinion on these complicated topics before actually helping someone. Thanks for the perspective.
