Massive Snowfall
There are a lot of Canadians on here who will think this is nothing, but 8" of snow is a big deal where we live.
I had the tractor outside so that I could work on my car. The old girl still started right up with a shot of ether.
After clearing the driveway and the neighbors drive, there was time for a snowball fight and a snowman. We made such huge balls of snow that we couldn't stack them up, so he is a prostrate snowman.
It took until 4 pm before the snow plow came by our house.

When you live in an area that doesn't get much snow, it's a real hardship to get it without having big snow removal equipment. Definitely different for us in Canada although it varies a lot from place to place.
When I was in school we had a 10" snowstorm in Greensboro, NC. They are far enough South that they are totally unprepared for snow. We saw some hilarious and dangerous attempts at driving. There was even a guy who tried to drive a VW bug over the massive pile of snow at the end of his driveway.

I had cousins there. The whole city shut down if they had an inch of snow. You would be surprised to hear there are drivers here who have to relearn winter driving each year! lol
Looks all that snow shoveling done did in the snowman. As he lies back to cool off after a hard day of shoveling, wondering who is going to get him the beer he is too tired to get himself.
That must explain why he is unhappy. No beer.

Yeah, 8 inches of snow is a pain in the butt even if you're used to getting that much at a time. Snow removal is a lot of work.
The nice thing about snow in the South is that nobody expects you to did out and also make it to work on time.

Awesome share! Happy to see that fun was had, we have retreated back to South America for the winter :) Snow is also fun in pictures ;p
We did have a good time. It would be different if this happened frequently all winter long.

Pretty wild weather, considering it's not even winter yet!
It feels like a special occasion. After a couple more storms we will be tired of it and ready for spring, but for now it is fun.
