Tonight, while editing some photos for a few future posts, I came across the sweetest photo of my boy cat, Obi, being assistant food mew-tographer📷. Obi for short, and Obi Wan Kenobicat in full. I thought I would share some pics, and tell you a little about his naughty cat butt!

Obi started his life in the streets. He was one of a litter of stray kittens I found in our courtyard at work. At first, I just left them with their mommy cat, but after a while she kept staying away for days, and the kittens cried so much. They were so so cute, that I couldn't resist playing with them. They would puff up into little furrballs, and hiss at me so hard that they would catapult backwards. They were trying to be scary, but it wasn't working

After a while, I managed to find homes for all but two. I took the little fluffies home, and introduced them to my older girl cat Kimmi. She was not impressed. After I homed his sister, we were left with one feisty little shit.

Being a street cat, even so young, he would beg and beg for food, all the time. If we were cooking, or eating, he would climb up my pants leg with his sharp little claws until he could see the food.

He had (and still does have) tremendous amounts of energy and would race up and down the apartment, the curtains, treat the bathtub like a race course, and irritate the shit outta Kimmi. She hated him.

He has since calmed down a lot, and has grown into a loving, very talkative kitteh. I love him with all my heart, and am so glad I rescued his stinky cat butt.

Every morning, I wake up with him at my feet, and I shuffle out of bed, while he leaps and jumps around. He'll do a couple of sprints around the apartment, while I brush my teeth. Then, we sit at (well, he sits on) the dining table, and I eat my cereal. He used to try to knock the food off of my spoon/fork, but I have squirted him with a water bottle too many times for him to try that kak now! I do share my milk with him, dropping little droplets onto the table for him to lap up. I know, I know... I shouldn't.

He has the personality of a little dog. He fetches a ball, makes strange, almost bark like noises, and follows me everywhere. He is a precious little soul, with the kookiest personality

I know pets are not such a big part of every one else's lives, but I love my miaows and thought I would share!
