The "Stripe" payment processor stops accepting Bitquin currency payments

in #life6 years ago

The Irish payment processor "Stripe" announced on Tuesday that it will stop accepting payments from Pitcairn as of April 23 this year. The company points to the ability of transaction block size, slow transaction confirmation times and high fees, which are behind the change. Stripe was the first major processor to accept Bitquin in 2014.

Tom Carlo, the company's product manager, continues to point out that the company will continue to monitor emerging currencies and its derivatives closely, making the business on the buccaneer possible to grow again. The "Lightning Network" of Bitquin, Etherium and "OmiseGo" is specifically mentioned as promising projects.

Last year, Bloomberg revealed that it is one of the top 500 companies in the world, only 3 of whom accept Bitquin as a payment system. Issues such as scaling and transaction times, as well as fees, do not affect retail business only. So that alternative digital currencies are also withdrawn from the Betquin network. Storj, a cloud storage company based on the technology of plucin, announced last spring that it would be moving to the bacterium for etherium. The value of its currency increased by 400% shortly after its abandonment.

More and more, it turns out that if the Betquin is to retain its top rank as the most valuable digital currency in the world, it has to offer something in return. The fact is that it is no longer considered an easy way to pay for things. It has been digital gold more than digital cash for a long time now.

This is the view shared by many in the digital space, including its early adopter and influential "Roger Ver". Roger supports the currency of the Betquin Cash as the new king of digital currencies. He believes it is a cheaper and faster alternative than Betcairn, and that businesses are more likely to adopt it as a payment option.

Whether Roger is right or not, remains a matter of sight. What is certain, however, is that competition will continue to gain from Bitquin while continuing with projects such as the "Cardano" and "Tezos" versions and the so-called "Blockchain 3.0" development.
