How Do I Stop Feeling Crappy?

Isn't it funny that when your feeling down, you don't want to see anything positive cause you don't feel good... This is the time you need it the most but reject it the most...

I believe sometimes we feed the 'negative monster' inside and he wants more, he doesn't want to feel good, he likes feeding off negativity. He's getting bigger and stronger each day/week/month/year and it makes it extremely difficult to starve. The more you bitch and whinge in your head, the better it feels - it feels good to feel bad.

We are human, life has ups and downs and you can't be positive ALL the time but be aware that the more you feed negativity ( I'm talking months or years) it will turn you into a victim and make it very difficult to break the pattern.

When life deals you shit, get it out, let yourself wallow and mope but then pull your big girl undies up and deal with it....

  • give yourself hope
  • stop yourself when you hear yourself bitching and whinging
  • do things that make yourself feel better
  • reconnect with your tribe
  • don't think how will it get better? or when will it get better? or who will make it better? - just believe it will.

The only thing that will make your life better is how you think about it - What you think is what you create.

I'd like to add a stickman at the bottom holding up a ladder in the picture below... when you think your f$#*'ed someone steps in to change the situation!

That downward spiral can lead to depression. Not fun! Sometimes it's just about breaking the cycle. Changing something simple can snap you out of it.
