Popular?
Popular? No. Age has a funny way of showing us all what is important, and popularity doesn't stand up to the test of time. I used to fantasize about all the people who would show up at my funeral, and this is no longer a thing I think about, except perhaps in hindsight of how silly a thought it was.
It's a matter of foresight, I suppose. Seeing the world around you change as the years go by, and seeing the inevitable occurrences of life; noting these things and thinking about how it will affect us all someday. Popularity is a fleeting thing.
A striving after wind, considering just what sort of upkeep is required to maintain it... a sort of thing that gets you stuck doing the same thing over and over again, lest the popularity fade, or people believe you to be inconsistent. A flip-flopper. Couldn't stick to his guns. This leaves little room for one to consider changing one's mind, or one's ways.
Excellent writing, going to maintain popularity, one loses the things that can't be get back against popularity, it varies person to person, one can handle all sides with satisfaction others can't. I really appreciate your writing. thanks.
Right 👍
My friend the western society where we are, is now guided by the little man above, there are people who do the unthinkable to gain some I like, rather disgusting the travelers comments. My respects, thank you for that writing.
Popularity isn't important, good times are, whether you're popular or not.
True. It's like chasing a puff of wind. Popularity takes alot of work to maintain and is fickle.
