Most of the representatives of the genus Jacaranda are evergreen trees ranging in height from 20 to 30 meters, but there are also small shrubs that do not exceed two meters in height. Plants have pinnate, fern-leafed leaves and campanulate, in most cases blue or purple-lilac flowers. Some species have white flowers.
