LEARNING FROM MISTAKES

Hello Everybody, @pasaift here.
I would start today's post with asking two questions, the first being; Have you ever made a mistake before?? The answer is definitely yes. Now the 2nd question is did you learn anything from that mistake of yours?? Few may say yes, whilst others just put their mistakes behind them.

Mistakes are inevitable, it's a part of our life. So don't drag out when you make mistakes. Man is inquisitive and adventurous, so mistakes are bound to happen.

Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new" -Albert Einstein.

One needs to learn from previous mistakes, so as to avoid making them in the future. We should develop the wisdom of making right choices and decisions. This wisdom comes from experience.
"Right choices and mistakes comes from experience, whilst experience comes from making mistakes."

Learning from mistakes can only be possible when we admit that we've made a mistake. Most people remain in denial and push blame onto others. Once you begin to accept responsibility is when the learning stage begins.
Now you may be wondering or asking, must I make a mistake before I would learn? The answer is a capital NO. You are surrounded by people you mustn't wait to learn something from your own errors. You can learn from experiences of others.

I guess this is the part you have been waiting for, where I actually say how to learn from mistakes made. Well here I go. To effectively learn from mistakes, one must do the following.

Find out what led to the mistake.

Doing this would help you work through that mistake of yours. Gain deep understanding of what led to that mistake, ie what went wrong. You could ask questions like:

  • What did I do wrong?
  • What events led to this?
  • What could I have done differently?

Develop A Plan Of Action

After you must have done the above mentioned,to find out what went wrong. It's then time to draft a plan. This plan would be how to do things differently to avoid making similar mistakes. Ask yourself;

  • How should I start again?
  • How would I avoid repeating similar mistakes?

Doing this, I believe a valuable lesson would be learnt.
I'll end this post with a quote.

" mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are; precious life lessons that helps us grow"

Remain Blessed

It is always worth the time put into reading your posts @pasaift
It very true that we learn valuable lessons from our various mistakes, the failure to recognize this often translate into failure in the same manner and therefore bringing about a state of stagnation.

Yeah. We shouldn't just make mistakes and let em be. Thanks for stopping by

you have shown us practical steps to learning from our mistakes. Thank you.

For once I see a post not promoting personal mistakes as the best teacher.
This Post is very insightful @pasaift , you must not make the mistake yourself to learn from it.

you can choose to let other peoples mistakes teach you.

No matter what path you choose in life, someone has tried it and either was successful or failed. Their experiences can be a map which would lead you to the trasures you seek.

Thanks, glad you loved it.

Failure is never final nice post

Yeah. When you fail, find out why, prepare yourself and try again. #cheers

Yeah, learned much from them and so much better and cheaper to learn without them. Must read, observe, think it thru and understand more often.
