The Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company has got to be our favorite. Thankfully, we are even able to visit their main site in Mansfield, MO a couple times a year now. In this video, we share about what we ordered from Baker Creek for our 2019 planting season. There are a few that we've tried before, and many new varieties that we are eager to give a try!

That's a good idea growing small fruits that you can cut up on the spot for the kids. I've also found that chickens love melon rinds. Ours get watermelon and canteloupe rinds and pick em clean. Another step towards growing your own fodder :)
I am going through the baker creek catalog right now trying to decide what to buy. Love their seeds! We have been feeding those beets to the cows all year as a treat. They love them.

Hum...I ordered from them last year yet they didn't send me a catalog....that's disappointing.
I need to look and see what I might want to grow new this year. I as well have also considered growing some celery for the first time.
