Midnight rants 05 --- It's not luck.

Seen anyone doing better than you are? and deep down inside, you're interested and would really love to replicate that?

Well, so have I, on countless occasions. from the musician on the piano, an artist on his canvas to even mundane things such as walking posture. Lol

Well, while some of those stuff comes pretty easy to learn, others could take longer to master. There isn't any luck in it, it needs something other than time and luck.

These high-flying people probably gave in the hours and effort to get to that level they are now, and it would really be a shame on our part to want something you're least prepared to work for.

Envious people are known for characterizing other people's work as primarily due to luck and I figured that nothing could be more wrong. They call it luck. but in reality, it is called preparation.

Success does't just come whenever you want it to. Rather it is a sum total of your preparation and your opportunity.
Aso, it doesnt follow the blind, to be successful, you need purpose and a sense of direction. Take the initiative to follow through and stick to your plan. You may make mistakes occassionally, (which of course, everyone does)But i'm darn sure it's way better than sitting at a place doing nothing.
