Good Afternoon Steemit! a lovely Sunday here in portharcourt, it's quite breezy and the sky is Clear. I simply love it..
so I had the privilege of doing a quick interview with @samiwhyte. Sam shared his dream of bringing value to his community as a Steemian. definitely a must look out for, this guy.
Wait! How did we get here?
Allow me explain.
My last week was a pretty hectic one. Monday started out as though it wouldn't be a busy week, but all of that changed in no time as I found myself going places and hanging out with friends. Friday was no Exception, as I visited the Hub unanticipated, and met some really cool Dudes who just finished their final exam in College (University of Portharcourt, Nigeria). wanna say a big congratulations to @samiwhyte, @rogerman, @wyxlight, @promisengr, @francistagbo, @njokuoluchukwu, and @winarobert. you guys rock!
If you're Nigerian and reading this, you'd reckon how excited and happy these students normally would get. energetic chants and phrases such as "Finally I made it!", "Certified Finalist!", "Five Years don waka" (5 years fulfilled) would fill the Air, 😃 not to mention this cool annual ritual of friends and fellow students on various campuses where they write congratulatory remarks on their shirts, some people would sign and draw Chemical and math symbols too. and then after the exams, they would get drenched with Water by almost anyone (whether related or not) 😂 fun times¤

the Boys took out the time to meet-up at the hub. you know, a "just us" themed meet-up.
I think the discovery that we were related in more ways than one was pretty thrilling. yup, these guys Were engineering students and as such, not one of us got lost in all that Tech jargon we spoke.

Sir @ejemai was present in the meet-up and he congratulated and exhorted the boys on the way forward, he also shared some of the experiences and lessons learnt during his early years as a college Graduate.
in all, Friday afternoon was a pleasurable time. there were lots of talks and banter, drinks and cakes and all... congratulations once again.
well that's one of the values we uphold at @stach –Fostering friendship and networking between people all over the globe, a few at a time.

I also remember my own graduation and all the excitement. Its fun times I swear. Keep these vlogs coming.
