There’s some disadvantage of the advance technologies start with the internet! Most of the peoples spent most of their times surfing the internet, and some students are most likely to neglect their studies or some of their important work, people may lose their concentration to their work beacause of spending time on internet,,
We all know that the internet made to make our work easy, easy to communicate to other people, easy to search our projects and no need to go to the library. See the people nowadays instead of communicating others face to face personally, they are using internet video call to communicate with others. It is because people nowadays is over depending on the internet. Internet is allowing peoples to access the different websites, chat rooms, social medias, and forums available. Some of people uses internet to make a crime that may abuse innocent people, so these is the example, cheater make friends to lady and try to cheat her by the sweet words, lonely ladies are mostly very easy to trap with this kind of crime, cheater will ask for a nude photo from the lady and cheater will use these as the tool to bank in money from the lady, I know that you already see or read in the news. The bad sides of the internet to our children..
By the use of internet will make our children addictive to online games that may lead for the children to shun all outdoors activity, that may easily to develop desease such as failing to develop interpersonal skills, and obesity. Internet is harmful to our children in many different ways, our children nowadays can explore the internet more seriously, the internet provided an easy access to pornography such as photos, stories, lines, music, and videos that can cause sexually addictive.. internet promotes irresponsible sex and false notions in the mind of the children, Our childrens may not be matured to understand and use the functions of the internet.
Internet has more positive sides when you use it in a good productive ways. We have to take a responsibility to guide our children to use the internet wisely and sure that they get right information about the internet….

most of this is related to how parents educate their children, not the actual nature of the internet.
OF course a child is going to get addicted to an electronic device if their parents do not encourage early physical activity, and just give them a tablet to keep them quiet while they work.
It is not up to the internet to self-regulate, it is up to people to be responsible.
Parents shouldn't give their children bloody CandyCrush (which is DESIGNED to be as addictive as possible) but rather the kind of games that, while fun, use the brain and develop problem solving. (Hell, even adults can use those... I play games by Zachtronics, and after a few levels I don't WANT to play anymore, as my brain has been drained by the effort of solving the puzzles.)
Basically, it is our responsibility to educate children and ourselves as to how to use technology, and help those who have problems controlling themselves in face of it.
The internet promotes EVERY opinion, both good and bad, depending where you look.

With the will to censor the internet that most governments seem to be developing, we might get a chance to build a new "kind" of internet, based on new protocols and our experience with the old one.
IT depends if we can uphold the values of freedom the internet was made with, or if we'll have to set up a new network system to continue sharing information freely.
