Are there more gun deaths today then the past?
For the decade leading up to 2012, gun deaths per thousand people were relatively consistent as the graph shows above.
In 2012, USA Gun Deaths spiked in line with the explosion of guns manufactured under Obama.
By 2014, they Gun Deaths had dropped back to the top of the historical range.
There is a lot of room for improvement - but at least we know whatever was done over the past 15 years has made no improvement.

The thing is that since i remember, there has not been any gun control law in the US, and it's not until recent years that there is this "rise" of mass shootings.
I just read the news that the Florida Shooter was clearly disturbed just checking out his social media, and the FBI was aware of that. Why didn't they prevent it?
Exactly - The FBI is dropping the ball badly.
Not just this school shooting in Florida, but the FBI dropped the ball with the prior 2 mass shootings in Florida as well.
Plus a bunch of other mass shootings across the country. The FBI is now a political organization that neglects it's core mission.
