Vero was launched in 2015 but a billionaire businessman, Ayman Hariri.
This idea was born out of frustration with existing social networks. Simply saying this platform will not be mining Your data to sell to advertisers and has no ads. The kicker for Vero is that it doesn’t manipulate or curate your feed. Posts are sorted not via algorithms but in chronologically way. Another great thing about Vero is their view on "friends" on social media platforms. Here You have control who can see Your posts. When You met new people You can choose what category they belong to (close friends, friends, acquaintances, the fourth group are followers). When You post an image from Your holiday You can choose which group of people can see it.
