Raleigh police served warrants on google to obtain data from mobile phone users whom were in a crime scene area. These users were not limited to anyone being suspected but they want all people that were in the area.

This action maybe considered a violation of the Fourth Amendment as it can be construed as an unreasonable search. At this time google has not revealed if it will comply with the request.

Another troubling detail is the size of an area they are data, in one case the area was a 17 acre area. Again, they want data of all mobile phone users in that area. This could affect thousands of users.

An google can issue an data from mobile phone innocent people to a police not notifying other institutions about it?

Yeah, that's not good. It's like everyone that carries a cell phone is being tracked. Thank you for the comment.
