Hail
Darkness captured
Transmutate like absinthe
Alabaster
Pour out the overture
Begging and pleading
To release what’s
reconfigured
many times its own sum
(Poison none the wiser
Gripped in treason
Has it forgotten the reason?)
Laid upon scales
Before the architect of Light
How many stars do you find here tonight?
Ascending in tapestry
Gold blue and taupe
All of your dreams
Held within one looped rope
