What is climate change and what can we do about it?

in #life3 years ago

We all made up a tale about ourselves, whether it was good or bad, and shared it with the rest of the world. We attempted to make these stories as meaningful as possible. As a result of rapid resource consumption and technological advancements, economic liberalism has evolved alongside a new global mentality, and the entire world has gradually began to raise the red flag of insolvency. Yes, we do live in a world where everything is possible. Dreams do come true in some cases. It is ideal, and it truly is so. However, only a small percentage of the world's population can survive on this planet. Allow me to speak to you about a topic that is rarely discussed in our developing world: climate change! Let me explain.

First, allow me to provide you with the definition of this term from the dictionary. Weather patterns, oceans, land surfaces, and glacier layers are all being altered as a result of climate change, which has been occurring for more than 30 years already. taken note of the rising Carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels, particularly coal, have risen, as have greenhouse gas emissions, according to the International Energy Agency. Deforestation, along with improper consumption, is a severe problem. Climate change has ramifications that go beyond temperature. Droughts and floods are examples of natural disasters.

What can be done to mitigate the effects of climate change?

Energy efficiency is the most cost-effective and time-efficient method of reducing carbon emissions. By following a few easy steps, it is possible to achieve this degree of efficiency.

Instead of focusing on fossil fuels, we should be concentrating on renewable resources such as the sun, wind, hydrogen, and the ocean. Of course, simply altering these commodities will not suffice in the long run. Reduce the use of compounds that do not dissolve in nature or that disintegrate slowly in nature, and seek for alternate sources of materials. Plastic is the most important material. In Turkey, the plastics manufacturing industry is one of the most rapidly increasing industries. Cotton bags, glass water flasks, steel cutlery, and steel straws are all examples of plastic-free alternatives. Items are available for use.

Land use changes, particularly deforestation, are a contributing factor to human-induced greenhouse gas emission. An important goal of these projects has been to slow down and eventually reverse forest loss. It is feasible to replace as much of nature as possible with synthetic materials. People who eat organic, locally sourced foods and who cultivate their own food can all help to reduce these losses by eating less and throwing away less.

In order to leave a legacy for future generations, we must halt this trend and speak out against it.
