My outing today

Today I went to where my grandmother raised me, i passed by the house we lived but I can't enter again cos it now belong to someone else. Her shop was not even where it was again, it has been cleared and the land has new building, I still went to the primary school I attended by them, I see no changes in the class rooms and offices, no repainting and no dismantling, the fields and fences too remain the same since fifteen year ago cos I was just nine year old by then

I remember my classmate then that we love each other then which her house didn't far to the school, I went to where the house located but I didn't go in cos she may not recognize me even if she still live there so I turned back and headed to the church we used to attend by then and joined the program that was going on. It's one of our Reverend's grand son naming ceremony. Some people still understand me while some don't again, I see new faces and some old faces which I expect cos people has to move.

I did this so as to recall the impact my grandmother took in my life. I loved her so much but sad I didn't take care of her the way she took care of me. I wanted to build her house of her taste, buy her car and get her driver but death took her away from me.
