My bathtub

This is my warm water and bathing system. It heats up with wood. I'm using it for over 5 years and I'm used to it. It takes, depending on the sort of wood 20 to 30 minutes to heat up. It contains 23 gallon. If you open the warm water handle cold water flows on the bottom of the tank into the tank and pushes warm water out the top. The hot smoke streams through a cylinder chimney through the middle of the big white cylinder filled with water. It's an open system. That means that expanded water that gets warm can escape through the top so that no pressure is been made. I made a zigzag chimney so some heat radiation heats up the bathroom as well. This works well. The heat is to high on the top and to close to the wooden ceiling so i had to make a heatshield out of a baking form.

The bathtub looks special but is just a bathtub. There is no extra maintenance necessary. The moist wood makes the bathtub water sealed.
