It goes eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee in my ear

in #life7 years ago

I have ringing in my ears. Or a high pitch tone. It sounds like the highest tone i can hear. It's there when it' s quiet. I don't know if i always had that tone. i think it's new. I wear earphones without listning to music right now and can hear the constant tone clearly. I worked with heavy machinery but this was a long time ago. I went clubbing a lot and visited festivals, also a long time ago. There was a high volume techno beat in clubs and at festivals and i've been close to the speakers... i think i screwed up my hearing.

I don't feel bad yet because it's not disturbing. Hopefully it doesn't get worse.15092182366661914218451.jpg

Robert Frost : In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: It goes on.

I have had tinnitus for years. I suggest you get to see an audiologist asap. Get a base line at least. I eventually completely lost hearing in one ear.

There are several brands of hearing aids that emit a "white noise" to mask the noise.

If "normal" loud noises actually cause pain you may be developing hyperacusis which is treatable. If you have not seen an audiologist please please go see one. COSCO will probably test for free,

Wow. The first human i meet with steeming and says something constructive. Thanks a lot for the compassion. You just made me feel the need to take it seriously. I will make an appointment at an audiologist. I will post a story about what happened... if you are interrested. Thanks a lot!

By all means. I am a bit of an "evangelist" when it comes to hearing, I have personal experience in how hearing loss impacts ones life.
