A VISIT TO TRINITARIAN ORPHANAGE!

in #life6 years ago (edited)

On Saturday 28th July 2018, I did something that is always in my heart to do. Something i had done only once before now. Something i'll always do.

The truth is, everyone has gotten themselves wrapped up with the quest to make ends meet, get rich, make more money and enjoy to sum up their existence. This is totally not out of place but I for one think that there is a better way of defining one's existence.

"How many lives have you made better with yours"

I recently joined a foundation. The Aisetu Fondation that opened up that part of me to better lives of orphans with mine. I began to see that it was a privileged to have been brought up by my biological parents. I though of it like: I couldn't even speak or know what was happening around me when i was little but family took care of me. Do orphans not deserve that too?

Be that some became orpans due to circumstances surrounding thier parents or death, a family is what they need. Give them a kind of that privilege you had. Do not allow their vulnerability to be exploited.

Take it as an opportunity to speak to their young minds, teaching them to value themselves and others. Do you remember those cartons and programs that you loved so much as a kid? Show the children. Teaching them that the next man is as important as themselves.

Teach them to show love. Give them a role model: you know how well your role model shapens your personality. Be that model; Give them that chance. By doing so you're creating a better world.

Do not allow the society hit them and make them learn some harsh notions themselves from people who do not show love. Help to guide them. It goes beyond just providing their basic needs or saying that the government should do that. Get out there and reach out.

What is important is not what you give to them; it is what they learn from you, what you teach them.

Remember:: The minds you create now are the minds that will take care of the future.

I'm an advocate of Love. And i say:

#showlovetoorphans

Thanks for your of these kids. The best way of doing God's work is to open your arms for ophanages.

Yes! The children were very happy to see us. Many of them had not even played in a while. I even discovered some very intelligent ones.
