A story about one of my Facebook friends

One of my Facebook friends received advance notice of the end of her contract from a company where she is working for 17 years as a temporary worker and will be unemployed in December. She was worried about a tiny book store in a station closest to the company first and foremost. She had always bought a healthy number of books that was priced at 15,000 yen at one time there. In those cases, sales persons secretly put books in cute sacks which were free gifts that came with magazines. Books are cheap, so she was a large customer. But she will be unable to buy books at the book store from next year. She plans to take a box of cakes to them. One of her colleagues at work says it is not what she should be worried about because she will be unemployed.

It is a tear-jerking story.
