Social Distancing With the Grim Reaper
To paraphrase the the dry wit of Samuel Langhorne Clemens, I too can concur that the reports of my death are greatly exaggerated. Yet I must admit, I hit a rough patch. As the late, great Chet Atkins used to say, the grim reaper took a swipe at me...but I ducked.
I dont know if I am out of the woods quite yet, but I dont think I am at the code blue level. Being a life long asthmatic, this reminded me of the days of my early youth when there were not much in the way of treatment. Laying awake some nights, having to talk myself down to slow my breathing and calm that panic feeling. Damn scary stuff. I wont lie.
Just give me a puffer (even an expired one lol) and I can live through anything.
So I thought I would drop this little post to explain my absence. I honestly did not even feel like voting on posts. I still am not sure what I have, as I did not go to get tested. As I have not been sick for decades and have every symptom of the virus, I will leave it at that. I believe I am doing better. Yesterday I did not get out of bed. Today it is 5pm and I have not even napped 😁
Dreary inside and out...
So I will keep in quarantine and practice proper social distancing, especially with the Grim Reaper.

Yowza, take care of yourself, Mon. This stuff is not good for anyone, but having asthma is no doubt scary. Glad you told the G.R. to buzz off. Hopefully you can take care of it at home, but make sure to make sure you head to the hospital if necessary. This is your Steem mother from way out west, waggling

Thank you verymuch. I will get to it. My HH tutor is going to help. Is this the same site as when we sign in to Steemit? There are so many layers to things, it is hard to keep up. Particularly for one still banging tech rocks together such as myself.

All kidding aside, take good care of yourself and keep low. You are definitely high risk and don't fool around if your symptoms come back worse.
