THE RAMPAGING EPIDEMICS CALLED LASSA FEVER

It all started in Nigeria 4yrs ago when the rampaging disease came to limelight and took so many lives. Lassa fever also known as LASSA HERMORRHAGIC FEVER caused by lassa virus. Many of those infected by this virus do not developed symptoms. The disease is usually spread via contact with the urine or feaces of an infected MULTIMAMMATE RAT.
This disease went into extinction and after few years it resurfaced back into Nigeria and now it is rampaging Nigerians like roasted chicken. The government of Nigerian has warned the citizen not to consume RAW GARRI

as three(3) persons were confirmed dead as a result of lassa fever. As it stand the killer disease is spreading across the country.
As it stands this is not a period to drink garri(cassava flakes) because it is not cooked and people just pour water on garri and begin to drink it when a rat has urinated on it. People are advised to properly cook their food before consuming it. The disease is presently in ebonyi state(east of Nigeria) four(4) people including three(3) health workers died from this infection. The disease has further spread in kogi, ondo and other part of the country leaving death tolls.

2. Coughing
3. Swollen airways
4. Stomach ache
5. Vomiting and diarrhea
6. Difficulty in swallowing
7. Hepatitis

8. Avoid contaminated food
9. Eat well cooked food
10. Avoid contact with rat
