Don't Just Think Equality, Think Equity too!

The clamor for equality didn't start today. It has been for years. People wanting to be treated equally, gender equality, equality in the work place, equality between a man and his wife, some people might even want equality in he Steemit community (_ smirks_) .. You no what, that ain't the issue.

The real issue here is if being equal is being treated fairly.

Is it fair?

It is with the idea of fairness in mind that requirements for men and women differ in the world of sport. Physiologically, men and women are not designed similarly- so putting them in the same category would be so unfair... Although there are women like men though.

If you were to be treated equally at work, you all would be earning exactly the same thing regardless of how way more qualified you are.

Is there really anything equal?

Don't come at me yet! But please what exactly in this world is equal? Damn! We ain't born under similar circumstances, don't have similar experiences. Life never really gives us things in equal measure.... This is why I do not get why people are pushing to make things equal... An utopian society- Really?

I do get the idea of gender equality in terms of female children getting educated that is because doing otherwise isn't fair to them

Think Equity

Like common, if you look critically at the image above you would see that the dude in the purple shirt is unable to see over the fence... Where they treated equally? -Yes, sure. Is it fair? No it ain't!

There are always gonna be the rich and poor, whales and minnows, big and small...

Think about it. Wouldn't you rather everyone got what they deserved? Or treated in such a way that it improves the quality of their situation rather be treated fairly? I think it is better that way.

Still do not go about life looking for who would be fair to you... Humans are greedy, you just have to fight for what you want.
