Everyone wanted to raise children who would grow up to lead a happy life- steady and successful careers, steady income, have great relationships. However, there is no "perfect" formula to do so because, everyone has their individual differences including the kids. So my take on this - we are merely baby sitting them. No matter what our intentions are or how we raise them, its up to the kids to develop and process themselves to be who they wanted to be when they grow up.
