BEFORE TAKING THE SHOT

A teacher teaching math to an 8yr old Jimmy asked him,

If i give one orange and one orange and one orange,how many oranges will you have?

Within a few seconds,Jimmy confidently replied 'four',the amazed teacher was expecting an effortless correct reply,three.she felt dissapointed, perhaps,Jimmy didn't listen properly,she thought..

She repeated 'Jimmy listen carefully ,if i give you one orange and one orange and one orange,how many will you have?

Jimmy sensing the dissapointment on his teachers face ,did his fingers calculations,while still searching for the right answers within him that will make the teacher happy,he replied hesitantly 'four'

The dissapointment stayed on the teachers face,she then remembered that Jimmy love green apples,thinking he dosn't like oranges,perhaps,that is making him lose focus,

This time,with a forced smile an excitement in her eyes,she asked, if i give you one apple and one apple and one apple ,then,how many would you have?

Seeing the teacher happy,jimmy again calculated his fingers,there was no pressure on him this time but a little on the teacher,she wanted her new approach to succeed,

With hesitating smile ,young Jimmy replied 'three'

The teacher now had a victorious smile,her aproach was on point,she wanted to congratulate herself,

But one last thing remained,she asked, Jimmy ,if i give you one orange and one orange an one orange,how many oranges would you have?

Jimmy replied sharply 'four'

The teacher was furious an irritated.how Jimmy,how? she asked in a stern an irritated voice,

In a shaky an subtle voice,young jimmy replied, 'because i already have one orange in my bag

This story brings to bare the mistake most of us make in judging people an also put across to us that we must avoid prejudice at all cost an hear people out before making conclusions an forming opinion about them.

you call someone an the person didnt pick up after several try an you quickly block and deleted the number.

You put across a text to your bae,and you didn't get a responds from he/she,you just run to the conclusion that you are ignored

You hear one side of a story an you quickly pass judgement without hearing the other party

You read a news an you quickly make irrational comment just to get a contrary report

you make distance assesment of an act or behavior without drawing closer to hear from the individual involve what prompt such behavior

You just hold grudges against someone who has no single clue that he/she offends you,an you nursing an harbouring hatred while the individual is busy enjoying his life

I can go on an on to highlight several instances where you seem to be so certain about your judgement based on erronous analysis or misconstrude information,yet you could be so wrong

When someone gives you an answer you did not expect,don't think there are wrong,there could be an angle it may not have occured to you yet or you may not have thought about,an no matter how seemingly sure a situation might present itself,be sure to know the fact from the person or persons involve before passing judgement an drawing conclusions.

No matter how it seems or what is involve,before taking the shot,always seek out for fact else you may make a terrible judgement that may ridicule a potentially wonderfull union
and possibly ignite avoidable resentment.
