The perfect man

I cannot understand this concept "am not perfect".Who says they aren't perfect . perfect means having all of its parts in harmony with a common purpose.

When God created man,he fixed all part in harmony with its Purpose.Man knew only what was right .When man ate the forbidden fruit?man unleashed the power to perceive and emit evil.
This didn't make man imperfect but rather to carry and added knowingness in the inside. But man himself is indeed a perfect being.
