The Power Of The Mushroom

I have been consuming Reishi and Chaga mushrooms in my coffee every morning for 6 months.

And...Wow!

Here is a quick run down of my experience..

  1. A sense of enlightenment. This is not the person talking back to you in your brain. It is something very different. For some reason these mushrooms let you absorb Truth. Wisdom from others flows directly to your brain. In some cultures we understand there is an eye in your brain. Your minds eye. For most this is closed, and all the Truth in the world cannot be seen. Like you attempting to explain to a bling man what the color green looks like. These mushrooms open this eye.

  2. Anti aging. for thousands of years now the Chinese have known this. Over even a short period of time these mushrooms bring balance to every gland in your body. Making you look like you did back when you were a teenager.

  3. Regulated sleep patterns. I have not had insomnia in months. Each morning I wake up clear in and focused.

  4. Disease Prevention. In this sense, diseases like heart disease and cancer mean that the body is out of balance, which is why the mushroom can help so many diverse ailments.

The most interesting part of the story of the mushroom is even though they have been around since the dawn of time. They are present across ancient pictures in just about every religion. People are aware of them and the powers they have. Yet, you rarely find anybody who actually consumes them.

Reishi isn't the best for DHT (hormone production testosterone) but chaga is fine.
You should look into the anti estrogen, pro test effects of white button mushrooms, they have an immediate effect to reduce headaches.

If you haven't yet, you should at least consider adding Lion's mane mushrooms to your stack. It's commonly available at chinese food markets and it's cheap. It boost something in your brain called BDNF other wise known as Brain-derived neurotrophic factor. As to why you'd want to do that, think human growth hormone for your brain:

BDNF acts on certain neurons of the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system, helping to support the survival of existing neurons, and encourage the growth and differentiation of new neurons and synapses. In the brain, it is active in the hippocampus, cortex, and basal forebrain—areas vital to learning, memory, and higher thinking. It is also expressed in the retina, motor neurons, the kidneys, saliva, and the prostate.

BDNF itself is important for long-term memory. Although the vast majority of neurons in the mammalian brain are formed prenatally, parts of the adult brain retain the ability to grow new neurons from neural stem cells in a process known as neurogenesis. Neurotrophins are proteins that help to stimulate and control neurogenesis, BDNF being one of the most active. Mice born without the ability to make BDNF suffer developmental defects in the brain and sensory nervous system, and usually die soon after birth, suggesting that BDNF plays an important role in normal neural development. Other important neurotrophins structurally related to BDNF include NT-3, NT-4, and NGF.
