Yes, the Christian God has an ego and a thirst for complete loyalty and love. He ordered Satan to bow to Adam, and he refused. Quite vain, totalitarian and narcissistic behavior on God's end.
I'm just calling it as I see it. This kind of behavior should not revered, encouraged, or celebrated.
Are you saying God, your Creator, is evil, but just not evil enough to program you so He won't have to put up with your rebellion and you would simply obey Him like a little good slave? And also not evil enough to manipulate your senses and cognitive faculties, but instead give you the ability to figure out how evil your Creator is? And where did you get that bullshit about God asking Satan to bow down to Adam? It's the Islamic view of God that talks about God asking Satan to bow down to Adam. You don't find that bullshit in the Bible. The Islamic view of God is nothing more than a fraud based on cherry picking from the Bible, and it's very easy to prove this to a rational and unbiased person. Regardless, get your facts straight next time...
I've heard it all before. You do realize that we were not programmed by any deity as we have free will. My biblical knowledge is a bit rusty, but it's pretty much all the same between Islam and Christianity to me. The same extremes, just different terminology. shrugs You're all the same to me.
