What motivates you to reach your goals and succeed?

There is a big chance you failed at something more then once in your life, but the real question is what do you do after? Do you give up or you take another chance to make your dream a reality? Most of the people who does not succeed in life tend to give up on their dreams and goals easily. And this is wrong. 

It does not matter where you are and what you do, the most important thing is to dream big and never give up. A lot of people don’t show their full potential because they are scared what the society will think about them or they simply start to believe when their closest people start telling them that they can’t do something. Yes, it is easier to give up, but unfortunately it is not rewarding at all.

Sometimes we feel that the world is against us and that nothing is working out the way it is supposed to work out for us. Nothing goes as planned.  But there is always a choice and for it is only one: Keep moving forward, keep fighting.

Each of us have different dreams and aims. Some like to travel the world, others to make family or simply meet their other half and have children together, or to become famous. Well the world operates in its own mysterious ways. Most of the people give up when they don’t succeed from the first try, or maximum the second and the same people tell everybody how the world is not fair to them. Actually, it is fair, because if someone does not receive something they wanted, the reason is that they did not fight enough to get it and therefore they did not deserve it. It is that simple.

Do you think that the most successful people in the world became what they are today that easily? If you do so, then you are wrong.   

Take for example the story of one man who had a dream and started to fight for his dream on 65. He failed many times, a lot more than you could possibly imagine. The exact number of the times he failed is around 1009. He was walking from one restaurant to another offering his famous recipe and he was rejected 1009 times until one restaurant said YES. The man provided the restaurant with packets containing the herbs in order not to reveal his secret recipe and for this deal the old man was paid a nickel for every piece of chicken that was sold.  The man’s name is Sanders (Colonel Sanders). He is the founder of KFC and whether you like it or not, you have to admit that this is amazing story because it shows that hard work along with perseverance, dedication and ambition can create success regardless of your age.

Another and relevant for our community example is about the dedication of a fellow Steamian @mindhunter. Last year he posted that it took him 1515 posts before one of his posts went viral (meaning he passed the USD 100 mark on Steemit.) That is called a spirit and believe! 

Just two very simple examples about people who have a dream and follow it and it does not matter if its in the real world or online.

Dear friends,  Do not give up in life, do not give up here on Steemit. The success might take longer that you predicted or wanted, but it will eventually come and the satisfaction from fulfilling a dream is amazing.

Never give up and you will never ever would have to ask yourself: “What if I have tried”. The world is competitive place, but all the struggles will make you to improve yourself, to become more self-reliant, stronger. Be this kind of a person who always takes chances, not the one who always feels dissatisfaction from giving up and not reaching their goals. I know, It’s never the right time, our life is too busy or simply we lack enough money or motivation. Nevertheless, don’t give up dreaming, in fact, dream big and pursue your dreams, no matter of the risks and the odds. We live once and, not acting on a life dream can also cause you health problems, so be healthy and happy – take chances and keep your eyes open and someday, at some point your moment will come.
