This $70 million dollar home has a death-defying pool

If money were no object, what sort of home would you design? The big dreaming folks at Arizona based Next Generation Living Homes have had a field day with the concept behind their extraordinary Cantilever Home – a property that includes eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, two bars, and a death-defying swimming pool.

Although still in concept stage, the designers hope to build the 18,871 sq ft. Cantilever Home on a hilltop location in Los Angeles or San Diego. “Our architectural design is best for a hilltop location with panoramic, breathtaking city views – or endless ocean views,” Next Gen said. Seeing as the pool juts out at a 90-degree angle (with seemingly no support – scary!) it’s no wonder a hilltop location would be best. Once inside, the luxury-factor just keeps rising. Breakfasting here will feel like waking up in a 5-star hotel. And with a custom wine cellar, retiring will feel even better. The huge home features a whopping eight bedrooms… And a tidy 12 bathrooms. (You never know when you’ll have to go!) There’s also two bars – one out and one in, naturally. The living spaces are generous enough to include grand pianos – perfect for John Legend who may be the only person able to afford the place. And of course, what crazy expensive mansion is complete without a home cinema. Your six cars will feel right at home in the swanky garage. While you count your money at the spa. Don’t worry if you’re not keen on any of the specs; Next Gen say “we can customise or add anything in our architectural designs to fit your every wish of this Magnificent Cantilever Home.” Too kind!
