It's on Steemit but you are right it is a pointless tag.
It's only pointless because it's abused so much. I'm actually interested on news about Steemit and would like to browse the #steemit tag without seeing things that don't relate. In any case, this prevented me from upvoting you.
Well you are correct and I have removed it. I'm sorry you feel so offended about it. It was a stupid thing to do. Will be more careful in future.
No problem. I've become a bit slack in the tags lately and have been using the shortcut of just copying them off other posts with a similar topic which is a bit lazy really.
