NEW ZIMBABWEAN GOVERNMENT UNDER IMMERSE PRESSURE

The shift that took place within a period of two weeks saw the removal of Mr Robert Mugabe and being replaced by President Mnangagwa.

At this point in time, the new governnment is indeed under pressure, the pressure that is coming from people to see that it makes a economic shift, people want a change and they want it now.

The President who was sworn in about three days ago requires a raft of reforms to rescue the country from the economic deathbed it is laying on.

His immediate task is to find ways to solve and hub the cash crisis the country is facing, also facing the need to mend relations with foreign countries the currency problem bedeviling the economy as for years now the country has not been able to use its own currency the Zimbabwean dollar as the country has beeen seen shifting currency from Rand, US dollar, the Bond Note etc.

The is need to recreate the economy of the country.

People are expecting him to change the reforms that had been placed by Mugabe which had seen most investors deserting the country, because of harsh policies, and yes we as Zimbabweans need to safeguard our economy and resources but if it means we chase away investors and leave the country jobless for many young youths, it means therefore we are doing nothing.

Most youths are now engaging into drugs not because of the fact that they are not eductated, they are not intelligent or worse still that they are not innovative, the fact is the country in which they are living in does not give them the opportunity to develop any new ideas.

As young people in the country we are hoping that, the economy is revived and new economic policies are put in place so that we can have a change.
