"I" Decide to Move Forward and Live that Decision
Staying ahead in the ever-changing world of IT. Technology is one of those fields where the only constant is change. Therefor it is invaluable to have tools in your toolbox on how to stay ahead and current in this field as an IT Professional. The talk/course from Pluralsight was a good intro and overview on practical ways to stay abreast in the changing world of IT.
The I has got to Move
However, in the end nothing will move with our understanding and skill acquisition or expansion of any topic, or point - not just technology, but also personal points inside us and our lives (such as how we feel internally and the emotions and feelings we go through towards something or someone in our life) - if we, ourselves - as individuals - The YOU, the "I" does not decide to move forward and live that decision.
Powerful Creators Within
We are quite powerful creators if we dare take self-responsibility and directive initiative/action for ourselves and our life.
I miss the free pluralsight membership I got through the microsoft-thingy :D. But what you say is true, and I think you are forced to change personally all the time, if you want to keep up in that field. (Even though it can be quite rewarding to keep rediscovering yourself)
