Lian Wong, lead researcher and scientist at Washington University's Institute of Health Metrics and Addiction, said both addiction and obesity in humans will increase.

According to the research team, people will live longer all over the world. The average life expectancy for men will be 71.1 to 76.2 and the average life expectancy for women will be 76.2 to 80.5.

Chris Murray, director of the research institute, said the disparity between the highest-income countries and the lowest-income countries will remain, but the gap will narrow. Sub-Saharan Africa will see the largest increase in life expectancy.

Researchers have said that measures taken for human health will increase life expectancy. Researchers believe that efforts to reduce Covid-19, infectious diseases, maternal diseases, childhood diseases and malnutrition will increase life expectancy over the next three decades.

The researchers also found that the prevalence of high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity has increased by nearly 50 percent since 2000.
