How do you look at the world?
"Life is not black and white, but individual shades of gray."
When I was studying a few years back, in my school textbook I came across this wonderful quote above. I can't remember who wrote it but the analogy stuck with me.
It got me thinking.
Some people perceive the world to be black and white, and once they believe something, nothing else can be true. Don't ever think about challenging them because they won't budge!
Other more open minded folks, will always question what they hear. Whether the information came from a teacher, family member or the government. I call this a gray thinker.
Why do some people choose a black and white approach on life, and why do some see all the shades of gray?
Maybe we are just humans and our brain develops in different ways, or maybe it's something more sinister.
Saludos. Existe una lógica de pensamiento y una lógica de la realidad. En plan de interpretarlas, grandes matemáticos se dieron a la tarea de crear sistemas lógicos. La que la mayoría de las personas conocemos es la lógica analitica (tiene tres leyes: identidad, no contradicción y tercero excluido). En el proceso de formación de las personas influye esta lógica, porque es la que se enseña en la escuela.Según esta lógica las cosas son verdaderas, falsas; sin términos medios. Pero la realidad no es así, es un tanto más compleja, viendo esto surge la lógica difusa, para tratar el problema, es aquí donde se aceptan los intermedios, como los grises que usted dice. Pero pienso que aun sigue siendo insuficiente porque la realidad va más allá de lo negro-blanco o gris.
