    Canadians do it differently. Is it liters per 100 km?

    My car is very eccentric, going from 15 MPG to 21 MPG.

      Yes, we do. It is Liters per 100 KM. So 6.9 L/100KM is about 34 MPG. usually get 7.8 combined 30MPG. Of course not the 4.8 L/100KM 50MPG I get with the Smart Car, but not enough room for bringing my wife's stuff for when she starts work on Tuesday.
