Yes, definitely! Especially for people like me who are a perfectionist, it can get quite overwhelming from time to time, but sometimes I just have to remind myself of that and get into the habit of JUST DOING IT! Maybe spend a bit time thinking about it, but then interrupting the pattern and telling my brain to just do it!
Great work man! Very well edited and thought out! Lol the solution, "DO IT!" Nice touch. Infotainment (awesome, I want to use it). I agree with your solutions for calming the mind. I use these practices myself. Subscribed.
Thank you for the compliment ma man!! It's very well appreciated!!
Yes, for people like me who are very detailed in what they do...it gets scary sometimes because I fall into the trap of just thinking of the perfect plan, but I guess sometimes it's ok to go with the flow :) The only thing that I have to work on is making it into a habit!
Hey! I loved it!! Yes, there's the perfectionist side of me, which is why I'm trying to focus on "crowbar-ing it!" Which where you do the best you can with what you have. That's it! And yes, there's the fearful side too. Yes, CrowbarMama gets scured (is that how it's spelled?!?) Anyway, I haven't meditated in a very long time. I used to do meditative journaling and I need to get back to that as well. I love how you edited your post as well. I've got so many ideas flowing through my brain right now. But, the fearful side is saying that I can't be as funny as you.... Hmmm... Time will tell. Anyway, thanks for sharing. So glad I saw this today!
Wow!! Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback @crowbarmama, it means a lot! Looks like I'm not the only person who's a perfectionist :D I have found out that the only way for me to take action and not fall into the trap of not doing anything (because of planning and planning and planning) is by making it into a habit!
@myndnow That's my downfall--creating the habit. I'm horrible at schedules and organization (except for my silverware drawer--I'm totally OCD about that. Weird, right?). Anyway, I do need to get back to meditation. But that would mean getting up earlier, which would mean going to bed later, which would mean giving up an evening of commenting and curating, which means... Crap. I've already blown it tonight... 😆 One of these days!😀
I really love your long comments! Very thoughtful! I'm always looking forward to reading them!
I'm actually on my road to getting back to my productivity routine, which I'm also documenting! You can check out my dsound for that when you are working or driving or whatever you are doing and you would like to hear my voice 😄
Wait, my long comments? Is that a polite way of saying I talk too much?!? Lol! Kidding! I'm glad you enjoy them, because I really struggle
with the whole short & sweet thing. I think it's the Portuguese in me. We just talk a lot. A LOT! That's why I'm dangerous on the Discord. 😆
I actually try to stay off the screen during the day because I homeschool and we really do limit the screentime for the kids, but dsound is a great idea because I could listen without watching the screen. I think I'll look into it!
Great advice Winny :)
Thank you very much Ade!! Glad that you enjoyed it!
Winny out...for now ;)
Good advices! Is really easy to get overwhelmed by our worries, and that can get us pretty anxious.
