The bad situation of USA

in #life6 years ago

I think that everyone saw, either on TV, or in the Internet the recent school shootings in United States. Some even say, that these shootings are an American phenomenon, due to a lot of guns being available to Its citizens. Stats show that on average, every American has about 3 firearms. There were 11 school shootings in 2018. That's very frightening.
In entire American history, over 1400 people died to school shooters, but almost nothing in the law system were changed to prevent them to happening. Maybe in the schools the shooting happened. But nothing changed in the law.
In my opinion, making schools enterance a bit harder to get through with big boxes, a few guards, would be good. They would check all the suspicious people, their bags. They are thinking about giving teachers guns, but that's not good as well. Sometimes teachers go out of the classrooms, and probably would leave their guns in some drawer, and someone could just take the gun and start shooting at children.

Bullying in school does a big effect in children lives. As a teenager, I see a lot of bullying in my school, and those kids are always being sad, thinking about suicide. I even heard one kid talking about how he would kill the bully. Those things probably wouldn't happen, because getting any gun in Lithuania is very tricky.

Mental illness could also do the same. Almost all shooters had this problemThat means that Student can be unpredictable, maybe nobody would ever think about it. For example, Seung-Hui Cho killed 32 students and injured 25 in 2007 shooting.

A 2015 investigation showed that since 1999 Columbine School Shooting, almost all of the shooters had researched the motives of it and took Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold as inspiration.
