Lasik!
Yesterday I got Lasik eye surgery. First actual surgery in my entire life. I must say I'm happy my first surgery is optional and for the better.
I'm typing this now and it's still a bit blurry. The surgery type I received is called PRK. Normal surgery is just called Lasik.

The difference between Lasik and PRK is surrounded around the cornea. The actual corrective surgery is the same. During Lasik, the surgeon makes an incision in the cornea and pulls the cornea back to do the correction and then it's the flap back in place. Healing is a lot quicker than PRK. PRK procedure actually melts a part of your cornea and then does the correction and then puts a contact with no power over the eye until the cornea grows back. After 5 days, my optometrist will take the contact out and my vision will continue to get better. After around 80-90 days it will be completely healed. So it's not as speedy a recovery as normal lasik is which takes only about a week to heal, but the end results are the same!!
So for now, I will be laying low. I can't go to the gym for 5 days or sweat for a risk of getting anything in my eyes.
Please pray for a quick healing process. My eyes don't hurt, they just feel uncomfortable.
