Air taxi to travel faster....
Taxi service company Uber presented their future plans to introduce air taxi services by 2023.The company names Dallas and Los Angeles the two cities where they first start the air taxi services.
Uber has shortlisted five countries - India,Japan,Australia,Brazil and France - and one of them will host services outside US.
As per officals from uber, air taxi in Indian city like Mumbai can cut the travel time by 90 percent.CEO of the uber aviation Eric Allison , illustrated that the 100-minute road journey from the city airport in Mumbai western part to Churchgate in south Mumbai can come down to 10 minutes by this futuristic service.
The vehicles they will use are akin to helicopters with multiple rotors that will fly low to keep the airspace free for jets and also have low noise levels.
Drone, Uber or taxi in the air, not sure about travel in the air, who is going to regulate the traffic. Moving drones are a lot different than avoiding trees and other stationary building. Just saying.
