How to Find Your Purpose and Become the Person You Have Always Dreamed Of Being

There is no doubt that most people dream about finding their purpose for their life. Unfortunately many people never get to realize their purpose, or find the "right person" to help them find it. However, if you use these steps and tips, you will discover your purpose for your life in no time at all.


First, tell your story. Talk about how your journey has led you to where you are today. Tell your story to a loved one or to a counselor or support group. Use this time to reflect on what it is you really want to accomplish and why it matters so much.

Next, find your mission statement. This is a statement of purpose that states what you hope to achieve from your current situation. You might also want to include a list of "unresolved" issues or things that you need to work on. When writing your mission statement, keep in mind that it should not be too grandiose. Write down your personal goals, your talents and skills, as well as the specific things that you need to do to achieve these goals.

Then, write down your specific objectives. These objectives will include your financial needs, educational goals, work requirements, medical needs, relationships, and others.

Finally, write down the steps that you have taken to reach your life's journey. In addition to writing down your journey, write down the dates along the way. Include the time frames that you've traveled through. Also include any obstacles that you encountered along the way. For example, did you lose a job, did you have health problems, or did something happen to you that caused you to change your appearance?

Once you complete each section, summarize your journey. Then, review what you've done, as well as your new mission and purpose for living. You will be amazed at the impact that you will feel once you have finished.

There are many websites devoted to help you on your journey to finding your purpose and becoming the person you have always dreamed of being.

It is important to realize that finding your purpose does not have to be a daunting task. Once you know where you are headed, it will be easier to see where you are now.


You will no longer look at life as being out of control or chaotic. You will no longer believe that there is some "why"! You will be able to enjoy your life fully because you have learned to put your life in your own hands and to be in control of it.
