Skating
To help children learn how to skate, we can always enrol them in beginner's classes and let their coach help them develop balance and confidence to skate around the rink. If correctly trained, kiddies could improve coordination and avoid injuries.
Before investing on skating shoes, we took the kiddo to the rink to check out if he is ready to learn and enjoy the sport. Shoes and ice equipment could be rented. The kiddo could stand and push the ice equipment around the rink. Parents also join in the rink to encourage and make sure that he is doing it right.
It was a fun outing. The kiddo has not asked to go to the rink again yet. There is a skating rink very near to the house. It is annexed to a restaurant that allows patrons to skate free of charge. The kiddo could play there after he has learned the basics of skating.
