You won't see me fight against same sex marriage in Australia, because...
1- Legalism is not the answer to the problem of sin. God has all the power required to legislate and enforce His laws one by one, yet He doesn't do it. You gotta ask yourself why! I know the answer and as I said, legalism is not the solution.
2- The letter in the book of acts to abstain from sexual immorality was written to Christians, not the unbelievers. Christians were never asked to seek or protest or conquer lands and legislate any of God's laws.
3- Our wicked masters are using this issue to divide and conquer us. They are hiding truths that if revealed would cause masses to convert to Christianity, and try to obey God from their heart and out of love, without anyone forcing them.
4- There are big fat lies about God within Christian circles that make an average sinner look better than God. If I were to prioritize what needs to be done in this world first, I would start with exposing false teachers, and I would start from the church because the church is supposed to be the light of this world. As Jesus said, "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot."
After sharing this on my Facebook, the only openly gay "friend" I had on there unfriended me. Someone I haven't even talked to for more than 4 years. Funny thing is I didn't expect him to delete me for that status update at all, but I guess it's almost impossible to read people's minds. I honestly wish him all the best. I'll probably never know what kind of struggles or abuses he's been through but he'll probably never know what kind of struggles or abuses I've been through either. None of which can be used as an excuse for our sins on the judgment day.
The main reason I don't support the political movements against same sex marriage in Australia is the hypocrisy that I see in the opposition. Gay couples can already do literally anything they want. They can even adopt kids or give birth to new kids through a third party which I find destructive for the future of society. The whole debate is just ridiculous when you think about it. The opposition has already compromised so much on this issue over the past few years or decades. Apart from that, there are many other things categorized as sexual immorality in the Bible, yet we don't see anyone in the opposition group oppose them. Why cherry pick I say?
I'm willing to bet that even God is mad at this so-called opposition and is gonna make sure they lose. They've even campaigned with Muslims on this which I find repulsive. The agenda of opposition groups such as the ACL in my opinion is not to speak the truth, but rather fight and concern over power. I see the same agenda behind immigration and refugee laws. This is why I admire Christians like Joel Osteen, because they are a lot more consistent with what they preach and I believe they are preaching the truth. For example, I think Joel handled an ambush on CNN pretty well, like a BOSS; the one I shared above, so make sure you watch it if you haven't already!

Jesus was love while on earth. A friend to the non believers and never judgemental. He died for us because we are all sinners. To create a crusade against homosexuality is pointing put the spec in the eye of our friends when we have the 2x4 in ours. Thanks for sharing this!

Lives destroyed, and kids who had the two polarities of parents now have to rely on the state for that other part.
It is also very sad because most gays/lesbians are really wanting to be openly acknowledged and accepted. They are thinking that a law will force people to accept them. To bad what really happens is that people resent being forced into anything, and the gays, not the law, will be the brunt of all that resentment.
I also think the elite are using this to set up the gays as the next jews. Or the first "evil" group that need to be put into concentration camps for our good.
I believe there are two different camps in the elites. One of them wants a very secularized world. This is the camp that is currently thriving in the West. And then you have another camp that wants Islamic Shari'a to dominate the world. This is the camp that is thriving in the East. You have other camps too though, like the RCC and Jesuits who want to restore the power back to Rome but they can't and are losing power on an hourly basis. The Bible is now at the hands of everyone and is translated into all languages. They can't take us back to the time when no one had access to the Bible except the priests who were indoctrinated by the RCC!
Ultimately though, you have the Devil in my opinion who's the main player behind all anti-Christ systems and the Devil wants a legalistic and religious system to dominate the world; a religious system that is false yet has similarities to the truth-because that's how successful counterfeits work. Islam is a successful counterfeit because it steals its foundation from the Judeo-Christian scriptures and Allah claims to be the same God.
This is all obvious according to the book of revelation. I believe the religion Satan has already chosen for this plan is Islam and he's working in the world exactly according to the plan. You see for instance that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the West while Christianity has almost died in the East and is rapidly declining in the West thanks to many lies and deceptions in the name of "science." Or we see false flags in the West like 9/11 that give a very false picture of Islam to the West so they would argue and fight a strawman and this would put Muslims off as well so they won't listen to their critics. It's all very wise and nifty when you think about it.

I do not know about the two factions of elite... I don't believe in a large cabal of elite, I believe in a lot of evil powerful people all going in the same direction because that is the direction evil goes.

And what I really want to know is ... all the people that I know who follow Islam are pretty much like all the christians I know. There really isn't anything evil there.
Then someone comes along and says, we must take back the holy lands, and suddenly we are killing generations of men.
I do not know enough to separate ISLAM the religion from ISLAM the political movement.
But, one point that really supports your theory is that sharia law would be an elite's wet dream. Killing public dissenters, because "law"would be a real boon in their book.
