You learn to observe, to adapt, to take on challenges you would never have dreamed of being faced with.
that is one of the biggest blessings, imo, of traveling not as a tourist, but as a human on the ground open to where life takes you. i traveled that way in my 20s and oh! do i miss it! i'll follow along eagerly as you two explore the island (saw the waterfall post!) and your life unfolds there. i'm excited for you :)
