The Reunion Party.
It was a great reunion all through the weekend, for the ever conscious and corrosive alumni of Edokpolor Grammar School set of 2013.
At first, it was a vision and suggestion brought by me to our Watsapp group chat early June, where I informed the entire house that, it won't be a bad idea if we all meet to see ourselves again after four years of graduating from secondary school. All thanks to God, they agreed to it and set up a committee of four, thereby appointing me as the chairman of the committe.
The committee worked so hard and tirelessly to make sure the reunion was a success and thanks to God who made the vision of the reunion party a successful one.
Below is the information passed by me as the chairman of the committee on the Watsapp group, in updating the house on how the reunion party will go about.
The reunion was scheduled to hold for the weekend, which was Friday and Saturday.
Day one, Friday 22/12/2017.
Though, the turnout was low, as some of the alumni failed to come, but we had the presence of some who now reside in other state like Abuja. Okpara Cyril, my SS1 seatmate came all the way from Federal Capital Territory Abuja, all for the reunion party.
I arrived the venue on time, and started waiting for those coming in order to give them direction to the pool, where the party is been organized. The alumnus started coming to the venue (Precious Palm Royal Hotel PPRH, Isiohor Benin city) at exactly 2:00pm and we headed to the pool to catch some fun.
We swum, played soonker game, table tennis, danced and enjoyed ourselves.
Below are some of the pictures taken on the event.
After all the activities have been carried out, it was now time for us to go back home, to get prepared for the day two event, which is a novelty match.
The pictures below were taken when we were about leaving the event venue to our respective destination.
Day two, Saturday 23/12/2017.
Some of the alumnus that wasn't around for the pool party, later found their way to the football field for the novelty match. The venue for the match was our secondary school field (Edokpolor Grammar School field)
Below are some of the pictures taken on the field.
After the novelty match was played, the alumni gave each other a warm hug, in a way of saying goodbye to themselves.
It's a good thing for old friends and classmates to meet each other after a long period of time, (about four years though) and I'm so happy that, my vision and suggestion later came to reality.
My prayer for my classmates is for everyone of us to be great in life, and also to be among the leaders that will make Nigeria great again.
Thanks for going through this experience of mine.

Beautiful. I always love reunions, it is worth celebrating all the time. Although not everyone can make up for it, the ones the reunion would usually be one to remember.
